We were really lucky that Krakonoš was kind this time and unexpectedly we took aerial hyperspectral data even before the flight window started :-).
On Tuesday, July 19, the team was ready in the Krknoše Mountains for the arrival of the aircraft and the data acquisition. The weather was excellent and good quality data was captured. At the same time, we spent 3 days in the field collecting tree branches for biochemical analysis of needles. We also managed to take UAV hyperspectral and multispectral data for the bark beetle forest. We then processed the brought in needle samples in the lab for 3 days. The whole campaign went very well and a big thanks belong to all the colleagues from KAGIK, KEBR, CzechGlobe and the students who helped us a lot in the lab!
