In the beginning of November 2022 we hosted professor Howard E. Epstein – chair of the Dpt. of Environmental Sciences, University of Virginia. We worked together over the joint project finalization, articles preparation and Howard gave a very intersting lecture “Assessing plant foliar traits across levels of organization using hyperspectral reflectance data”. We walked around Prague and visited Bohemian Central Uplands.
Then Dr. Petya Entcheva Campbell from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) visited us at the beginning of December. We worked together on the Interaction project outputs and articles. Petya gave a lecture on “SPECTROSCOPY @ leaf & canopy scales – Remote Sensing of Vegetation Function and Photosynthesis ” and we also spent nice time together on trips and walks in Prague.
