From 16 till 18 July we hosted already the third international workshop supported by the 4EU+ Alliance Charles University Minigrant (the first one took place in June 2022, and the second one in June 2023). The topic of our project was “Remote sensing for vegetation studies: deepening research collaboration and networking in the framework of 4EU+ Alliance”. This time, we welcomed colleagues from the University of Copenhagen, the University of Warsaw, the University of Heidelberg, the Institute of Geography of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. We discussed mainly our joint project proposal preparation. The project will be focused on an international Doctoral Network establishment (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions). Also further joint activities were planned (other project and publication possibilities). Our fieldwork was located in Křivoklátsko and Mělnicko area (vegetation studies oriented on invasive species, forest health and abandoned land using remote sensing).
